There are a lot of people who go into retirement without a plan. Or worse, they're misinformed about what will happen to their money. I've often heard retirees talking about how RRSPs are a "scam," or people who thought they were getting a large inheritance only to have the tax bomb go off. This is what inspired me to start Northern Lights Money.

My mission is to provide every Canadian with access to clear, unbiased education to help them make smarter decisions with their money.

Additionally, many of the financial planners who sell us our investments have a conflict of interest. Do they really want us to sell them? This can cloud their advice. I looked on the internet and saw that similar analysis from licensed professionals was incredibly costly. I then decided to use my knowledge and experience to create my own software that provides the same powerful, data-driven results. Because it's my software, I can provide this education at a fraction of the price.
